As March approaches, I'm busy preparing for the start of new courses at the studio as well as planning
and creating new plates for work that will be available by the end of the month. . . hopefully!
I'm also juggling voluntary time at AIM Gallery in Central Milton Keynes where I enjoy spending Tuesday afternoons.
We have a new exhibition going up this week of illustrators and I will have some intaglio prints in the browser
On March 14th I'll have new textiles and prints to sell at Broughton Manor School's Spring Fair from 11am - 3pm
April 11th sees the 2nd Eclectic Arts Market take place at The United Reform Church Hall in Newport Pagnell,
main focus of work I'll have on offer will be textiles and accessories to wear,
but there will also be original cards and some prints in the browser.
On May 16th I have the first Eye to Eye Collective event of 2009 opening at the Cross & Stable Church on Downs Barn MK14 7RZ, off V9.
This event showcases some of the best artists and designer makers from the region.
The venue is airy and welcoming and good parking can be found close by. The event is open from 1pm - 6pm.
Most of the work on display is unique, so come early to have the widest choice.
Some of the artists offer commissions, come and see what's on offer.
After that I'm working on the final preparations for gallery exhibitions through June to August:
30 June - 17 July The Subway Gallery, Queens Park Arts Centre, Aylesbury: Prints
August 1st - 30th The Three Hares Gallery, Olney, Bucks: Textiles and Photography,
joint exhibition of Photography by my husband Stephen and myself and complimentary textiles work.
