The images on this website represent a few examples of the recent,
original work made by designer/artist Helen Casey-Green.

Artist's Statement

From my studio in Milton Keynes I produce Prints: collographs, monoprints and drypoint techniques,
and hand paintedTextiles in vibrant colours,
using additional silk screen and devoré techniques, on silk and silk velvet.
Themes, colour and composition are inspired by elements of nature and changing seasons.

Often my work represents images from memory and imagination,
showing the subject matter as if from a number of perspectives at one time.

I am also driven by a desire to experiment with materials and develop my own visual vocabulary.
Drawing, from observation and imagination is fundamental to all my work,
whether it be in textiles or print making
and forms the groundwork for further development in colour and composition.

Recent work has been inspired by images from space and dreamscapes,
this has had a strong impact on colour and design.

My ideals are rooted in a passion for the British Arts and Crafts movement (truth to materials)

Feather Graphics was first established in 1987 and re-established in 2003 to represent the work of Helen Casey-Green.

In 2008 Helen set-up Eye to Eye Collective,
as a vehicle for emerging Fine Artists and Designer Makers to find an audience for their work.
